Spencer In 'Pretty Little Liar'

Spencer is ⅕ of the main characters. I’d describe her as an overachiever. She always does what her parents tell her what to do. Instead of going out, she spends time studying , and no matter what she does, she always feels second best to her sister. I’d also describe her as intent because she wouldn't stop studying & would do anything to subdue her sister. Another way I’d describe her is unloyal. She kissed Melissa’s (her sister) boyfriend.

The setting of the book changes throughout the story and within each character. It first starts in Spencer's house where the girls have a sleepover and where Alison is lost. The setting also changes depending on the character. For Hana, its predominantly Mona’s and herself’s house. For Emily it’s the river and her own house. For Aria its her own house and her teachers house. For Spencer its her barn and house.

There were many main events in Pretty Little Liars. One main event was when Mona was attacked by anonymous. Another main event was when they found Alison’s dead body & a memorial followed. Alison’s body was under the concrete. It states “They found her body when they were excavating the concrete slab in the Dilaurentis's old backyard

I perceived who “A” was through the clues, some reading, and a little bit of research. I think that they could’ve given a little bit more evident clues because it was laborious trying to find out who it was even with Google. Another thing I would change is that I would add a few more plot twists. An example could be that instead of Hana being an only child; I’d give her an evil twin which can add to the suspects and artifice Hana’s friends, or Alison, instead of dying (or staging her death, because she appears back around the 5th to 7th book) could've left and came back as a malicious and spiteful person. I probably would’ve had one of the main characters go through child abuse just so it’s more heartbreaking and it builds up the

Whether it’s about a man out for revenge due to an insult from a friend or a mysterious castle on a hill, setting often play an important role in establishing meaning in stories. Setting is the when, where, an action in fiction takes place. While the setting in a story may seem like a simple part of the story, it can in fact have a huge impact on what is going on in the narrative. In “A Pair of Ticket” the setting plays an effective role because it shows the progression of June May learning about herself, where her family comes from and also relates to the overall theme of the story.…
