In essay I will explain in what ways are the documentary “ Spellbound” and the Spelling Bee competition related to the American Dream. Documentary “Spellbound ” is about the 8 children who participate in Spelling Bee competition in 2002 years. The first I will talking about immigration and equality of opportunity. Second I will talk about hard work. American Dream is not only related and have fulfill for local americans. It can be related and have fulfill for immigrants who live in this country too. The first thing that needs to be said is immigrants who came to live in US and enjoy equality of opportunity. To have equal life , human rights and chances to succeed in this country, that they want to be each an independent freedom. For first example in the Spelling Bee many children …show more content…
Hardworking is the way you get to goal, try to be successful and get or want have good material health. First example from the “Spellbound” shows all 8 children were hardworking, try to be creative and spend a lot of times to study for achieve their goal win the Spelling Bee competition. Next example is Angelina is study a lot and hardworking for changing her background in future like help her family, get a good material wealth and be more higher in social system and be successful in her life. I believe hardworking is the good way to achieve our goals and be successful. After be proud ourselves and became more self - reliant. In conclusion i have explained documentary “Spellbound” about 8 children in US and Spelling Bee competition are connected to American Dream. The arguments I have presented about immigrants and equality of opportunity and fulfill have nice life . Immigrants can participate and have equal chances to succeed.
