In this essay I will argue for limitations of speed limits. I will give my valid points, explain my reasoning, and give a non-refutable evidence. The main point I want to give out is that speed limits are in place for a reason. The first speed limit sign was put up in 1861. Since the year 2000 more than two-thousand people died due to speeding. The people who have died due to drunk driving is less than speeding and more that fatigue related deaths. But the people who are at more risk of dying due to speeding is the age group from 18- 27. The speed limit signs are there for a reason why would you pay someone hundreds of dollars when all you had to do was slow down. Those are my thoughts about speeding.
