I hear the alarm clock beeping constantly knowing I have to wake up to go to school. I get up hesitantly to turn off the alarm clock and gather my clothes to jump in the shower. Getting out of the shower I smelled this sense of aroma floating in the atmosphere. It came to mind, that my mother was cooking breakfast for me before I leave to go to school. I threw my clothes on and walked step by step down the stairs. As I approached the kitchen, I was observing to see if anybody was in there. Suddenly, my mom speaks to me, " There is nobody in here sweetheart it is okay." I sit down pull the wooden chair from the table and begin to eat my breakfast. I was standing at the end of the drive way snapping my fingers waiting for the school bus to pick me up. The bus arrived and the doors opened, I took my three steps and was on board. I was searching for a seat to sit by myself to get some peace and not be bothered. After a fifteen minute drive we arrived at the place I did not want to be at. At school I was an outsider, all the people thought of me as the weird one and looked at me in disgusted ways. I was bullied everyday at school and my feelings were hurt deeply, but I kept all the hurtful things inside and never discussed them with anyone. My mom was getting reports from my teachers saying that I 'm showing signs of depression and that I never interact with my peers. As school was beginning, I remembered that I had an English test today in English class. The teacher handed me my test and I headed to Mrs. Sara 's speech room to take my English test. Mrs. Sara is like my second mom I can tell her anything when it comes to my problems. I walked in Mrs. Sara 's and sat in a desk in a corner away from the other three students and began to read my test. As I was reading my test, I was slurring over my words and could not read it clearly. I glanced at Mrs. Sara, knowing she was there if we needed assistance, but I was shy to ask her if she can read my test for me. I decided to try my best and read the test by myself. English was hard for me, because I stutter and repeat words. The more I read the more I got aggravated and was losing my train of thought. I began to cry and pinch myself harder and harder until my skin turned red and was bruised. My test was soaked from the tears that came down my face and I looked up and Mrs. Sara stood there staring at me and began to cry. Mrs. Sara said, " Come on Tristan lets call your mom and have a talk with her." We walked down the hallway and entered the office. Mrs. Sara called my mom and discussed with her the situation that happened. I sat down in the chair in the office and began to snap my fingers waiting on my mom to get there. Fifteen minutes passed and then she arrived at the front office and checked me

James and I just stared at each other for a few seconds with blank expressions. I decided to remind my mother that James and I had been asleep until she had awoken us and brought us to this cold, white basement. I made sure to let her know that James and I had been well behaved and hadn’t broken anything like other times we had visited places. My mother sniffled and giggled at me; she then said that I didn’t need to worry, we weren’t getting in trouble. My mother then asked if it was okay for her to explain why we were hiding in this basement and why we left so late at night.…
