I would be honored to meet the honorable Rosa Parks who sparked a civil rights movement thus changing the lives of many. During her time, racial segregation was at its peak. The blacks did not have rights, moreover a black woman. It began with a bus seat. The whites were seated in front while the blacks were positioned back but needed to give up their seat if the whites lacked seating. The others obeyed; yet, Rosa remained seated. That simple act of refusal resulted in austere treatment. She was arrested, charged, and was discriminated. I wish to ask her, “Although you knew your consequences, why did you still refuse?
