“So tonight we are supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors, honoring the taken, and never, ever giving up hope.” shared Jessica Martinez as she started off PHS's Kill Cancer night. Cancer survivors and fighters stood in the stands as the volleyball girls raced up to honor them with flowers. The night was planned by Pacific’s National Honor Society Secretary Jessica Martinez as her National Honor Society personal project. Each member is required to lead an event held by PHS NHS members. NHS pushes students to be there best through leadership roles in there community and school. Friday the 16th was a major success yielding almost $200 in a baked goods raffle and tee-shirt sells, sold at admission and tickets drawn in between the volleyball
