Overall, the SLPs recorded that physical bullying is more serious than verbal and relational bullying. When looking at physical bullying with imitation of a stutter and without, the average seriousness that was recorded was a 4.7 (with stuttering) and a 4.6 (without stuttering) on a scale of 1-5. For verbal bullying, the average seriousness with stuttering was a 3.6, and the average without stuttering was 3.3. Lastly, the average seriousness for relational bullying with a stutter was a 1.9, and the average without a stutter was a 1.8. In all of these situations, SLPs perceived that when a bully mocks a stutter, the scenario is more serious than when there is no mockery.
