Today is December 3, we have almost everything together and packed for our long journey that is waiting ahead of us. Patrick and I started our own wagon train, letting any stable family planning to travel to Independence join with us. I am filled with joy, knowing who is apart of our wagon train. Our wagon leader, Thomas, is excellent. He's a frontiersman with experience as a tracker, hunter, and a scout for the military. He was appointed and I am sure glad he is our leader.
