A. Main Point 1: Misogyny is a form of sexism based on hatred or disgrace towards all woman or in some cases, when woman don’t act as the misogynist wants them to. Also, misogyny creates a social image of how woman are supposed to be socially, and their role in the economy.
a. Sub-point: First, for centuries woman have an image of being a “mother” or a “house-wife”. Woman have been looked at as the cooks, the cleaners, babysitters, those who had to work in the house.
a. When you talk to a woman and ask her, “What do you do for a living?” and she says “I’m a stay at home mom”, people look at it as if it considered a job. Also, in entertainment woman are always displayed as playing the “house mom”, who put the food on the table and keep the house clean.
I. In the 1940’s and 1950’s, woman barley began having a population in the work places such as factories and in-town business. During that time family responsibilities became an issue because while mothers and wives were making money for their children’s needs, woman could no longer be at home, then turning the blame on the state, creating Welfare, allowing mothers to get paid while staying home to take care of their …show more content…
Washington Post also states, “32.3 percent of multiracial women; 27.5 percent of Native American women; 21.2 percent of black women; 20.5 percent of white women; and 13.6 percent of Hispanic women” (CDC) have experienced some form of sexual assault.
c. Sub-point: Finally, woman have noticed this sexism towards them creating a belief called feminism going against patriarchy, all standing up for woman rights.

b. Huffington Post defined patriarchy as “a system of society or government in which men hold the power and women are largely excluded from it.”
Transition into second main point: Now, although sexism is displayed towards woman, men get it too in a form called misandry.
