What is racism, why is there is so much racism going in today society and how can we avoid it or get rid of it? Those three questions are important when is come to talk about racism. Racism in America started around 17th century and it was mostly racist towards the African American people because there skin color, in today’s world, there are many different racist groups around the world but mostly in America. Racism is wrong, because god create us all equal not matter what color of our skin is. First way is aware and blatant racism, example, racist just come out and say to a person because they’re skin color or age or they’re looks. Second, covert racism is when being racist but just not saying it. Third, talking about unaware and unintentional racism, racist tries to apologize for all the racism but not fully apologize then continues it again. Forth, are self-righteous, racist attempts to tell people of color what issues they have to deal with in their communities? In today’s world, racism changed very much so maybe it hasn’t. There is still racism towards black people in America, but there are other different cultures in American’s are racist towards. After bombing on World Trade Center in 2001, American shifted their racist toward Muslim and all the peoples wearing turban. We Americans call all the Muslim and people with turban them “Terrorists” because of their cultures, clothes they wear, where they are from, and most important there skin color.
