One specific privilege that I have recognize that I have would be that I have a nice home and a wonderful family that loves me. I plan to work with children in foster care and providing empathy for what they have been through will be difficult for me. I have never had to deal with losing a parent nor have I had any family members get in trouble with the law. I know that I have been very blessed to be in a stable home, yet these children have experienced the worst. In order to provide the best service to these children will be to provide them with love and a listening ear. I want to help these children know that there is hope for them and we want the best for their future. Although I am privileged, I should not feel ashamed or try to hide the
