For a start, there are over 200 million people in this world that are mentally challenged and that caused them to become unable to work toward their dreams. The Special Olympics offers these hopeless people a chance to reach for their dreams and accomplish the never thought possible. This organization offers a movement towards the mentally challenged success through sports. In The Special Olympics the mentally challenged can gain inspiration and hope during the intense training and joy through the fierce competition. The event I have prepared for this organization will a fun filled competition of how many pushups each student can do after school. A teacher will supervise as we work towards a goal of doing as many pushups as possible. We will work and receive sponsors that will pay 10 cents for every pushup a student will do. While The Special Olympics contains a fierce competition for the mentally challenged through sports.This organization offers the mentally challenged the chance to present their skills and gain the respect they deserve. The special olympics has been around for 43 years and continues to reach towards the goal of helping more people around the world. My event will be sponsored by some truly amazing people who will pay 10 cents for every push up a Bode Student can accomplish. This charity will help The Special Olympics uplift the moods or people with mental challenges through sports. If we will donate to The Special Olympics we will help people who never get a chance in this world gain the opportunity to showcase their athletic skills through a fierce sports
