I have really enjoyed working with the Special Olympic athletes on Thursday nights this semester. Week after week, I am so humbled to be able to spend time with these students, as they always remind me to appreciate and celebrate the little things in life. Along with that, it has been so fun to develop relationships with these individuals. I love listening to them tell stories about what has been happening in their lives throughout the past week. In addition, one of my favorite parts of each week is seeing the athletes make improvements in their chosen sport.
