“Both self contained classrooms and general education classes have access to every service provided by the school. Typically, Reading and Math intervention services are provided to students in both classroom settings as well, but usually by additional personnel. Any extra academic service provided to students in self contained services are usually provides by special personnel.”
3. Are majority of these programs funded by the state or districts?
“The majority of these programs funded are by the federal government being that we are a Title 1 school or by the state. Some of the counseling/therapy services are provided by community partners within the district or through federal grants but directly funded by the district.”

“There are various services that are provided in the school for all students. These include food, health service, family services and parental involvement. Parent to Parent of Georgia, this provides information and support to families with kids who have disabilities. One that I for students with disabilities service SETSS which provides assistance to general education teachers in the classroom. Another services is Parent to Parent of Georgia, this provides information and support to families with kids who have disabilities. ”

“Inside the classroom years ago general education students and special education students were not placed together. Either they are taught in a general classroom or self-contained one. However, now most schools are required to have a inclusive classroom. In this school that affects my classroom and one service that helps me with special education students is the SETSService which is special education teacher support services. Teachers are placed in the classes for assistance; this service helps general education teachers during instruction
