1. ADHD
a. Identify the typical symptoms associated with ADHD. Which do you notice in Randall’s behavior?
• Hyperactivity
• Inattention
• Impulsiveness
• I notice hyperactivity in Randall’s behavior. He is talking excessively and becoming animated in his actions. Hyperactivity can also be seen with Randall fidgeting. Randall’s behavior also expresses impulsiveness. Randall wants to complete the work before anyone else can get a chance. He also expresses impulsiveness because he was impatient and was having a hard time taking turns.
b. Can you create some classroom management strategies that would work for Randall as well as for the class as a whole? What specific cautions would you add that pertain to disciplining students with emotional or behavioral problems?
• Every little bit have a stretch break before getting back to work to recollect everyone’s attention on the school work.

Instructional technology may be available to help students with a learning disability improve their weaknesses while also being able to use their strengths. It allows opportunities to help personalize the lesson for the student. It helps provide the students with accommodations that will help them succeed in the classroom. It makes teaching students with learning disabilities easier due to having an easier opportunity to help personalize the lesson to meet each student’s needs, which may be difficult in a large class otherwise. Instructional technology becomes a helpful resource to meet every student with a learning disabilities needs.
