This is beyond shocking, and don’t know where I stand on this. I understand that parents would feel safe knowing their kids are being monitored at all hours of the day but the teacher in me feels like I lost my freedom. I can’t imagine having video of my from my entire day every day I went to work. They have worked on cards since October to sell the cards they have made. This is the second year that they are able to go off campus to sell the cards they made which brings much joy to the students. They have made 100 cards and will sell hot chocolate alongside the hand made cards. The money that is being made will be placed back into their funds to continue their business.
This was an interesting thing because it allows students to do something they enjoy while gaining real world experience. I would love to bring real world experiences in to my classroom. I feel bringing the real world and experiencing the real world makes going to school more enjoyable. My high school had something similar to this but instead of having students go out in the world they had a shop set up outside of the lunch room where people could go and buy popcorn and snacks.
