Decent Essays
Do you have something very special? Maybe you have an instrument like in the story “The Treasure Of Lemon Brown” that he had some clipping and a harmonica .Is not the thing that they give you that make it special is the person that gives it to you . But have something special to that my Grandma Teresa gave it to me on my graduation from elementary. I love it so much that I have it on single everyday.
When I was little my Grandma Teresa love me a lot since I was the only grandchild. When I use to go to her house. She will take me to her rom and we use to talk. We use to go outside and see the flower she had a beautiful garden. She use to cook delicious food. One thing that is very special to me is something very special that she gave me.

“In writing, don't use adjectives which merely tell us how you want us to feel about the thing you are describing. I mean, instead of telling us a thing was "terrible," describe it so that we'll be terrified. Don't say it was "delightful"; make us say "delightful" when we've read the description,” -C.S. Lewis. My favorite story of this year was “The Treasure of Lemon Brown”. The reason why it was my favorite was because it shows us how something that costs nothing and looks bad could be so valuable to someone and how it means something important to one. The genre of this story is short story. The charters in the story are Lemon Brown, Greg, Greg’s dad, and the robbers that tried to steal Lemon Brown’s treasure. In the story the robber says “Where’s his gold?…

The story called “The Treasure of Lemon Brown” has a main character called Greg. The story called “The Moustache” has a main character called Mike. I am going to compare and contrast both of them. First, I’m contrasting Greg to Mike. Eulogy It never occurred to me that I would be up here so soon, talking about my Grandmother, Joyce White instead of celebrating her birthday with her and talking about the good old times when I was a little girl. I remembered my Grandmother as a beautiful lady with long black dark hair, rosy cheeks and red lips. She was not your typical grandma who baked cookies, stay in the house all day and knit sweaters, she was a woman who enjoyed life to its fullest. I used to remember when I was a little girl, I would love when my grandma comb my hair, she would plait my hair and when she is done, I would say to her, “Mama do not forget to fix my baby hair at the front with the brush,” she would smile and say “yes Kay, I did not forget.” She was a…
