Being in college certainly makes you realize how close you are to living in the real world and being on your own. We’re expected to know what we want to be when we grow up and start working for four years towards that goal. However, we may not realize that the majority of us are in the same boat. We don’t know what we want to be or what we want to do. We think the whole world has it figured out and that we’re the only ones that feel like this, but we’re wrong. I’m not exactly sure why this particular gif stuck out so much, maybe because I was able to relate to it or the fact it’s a common thing. But I do think it is a gif worth talking about and has a true meaning. How many times have you been in a crowded room, but still felt alone or ousted? Whether it’s in school, your house, or even your sports teams. You could be surrounded by one hundred plus people, yet it’s still possible to feel lost. So on the outside looking in, the person seems content and care free, but take a mile in their shoes and you might be seriously flabbergasted. Everything isn’t always how it seems, so you can’t constantly base yourself off of what other people are doing or look like, or what you’ve seen in the past. Not every person knows where they’re headed or what they want. Hell, some people can’t even make a decision of what they want to eat for lunch, let alone a decision that affects them for the rest of their life. We need to learn to take care of ourselves first and stop worrying about what other people are doing and what they have. We’re all our own human beings for a reason. We all won’t have the same stories or understandings. That’s all a part of making our own memories and recollections. If we were all the same and all had the same things to share wouldn’t the world seem a little repetitive and not so unique? Frankly a little dull
