The Story
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you had nowhere to go and no home to live in? You were just left on the streets to fend for yourself. Somehow you’ve got to find food to eat and water both of which have to be somewhat clean.

This is what it can be like in the life of a stray animal in need of a home. They were put out in the road left to die by their past owners. If you were homeless not as a man but a defenseless animal who must survive out there in the cold or the hot city what would you try and do? Well you would hope that someone would pick you up on the side of a road and care for you, but that is a very slim chance.

Plus, what if they’re not good people and they just take you into there house to hurt you and not love you. These animals are faced with this task most of the time. Then when they go to sleep they’re sleeping on the cold hard ground or maybe in a cardboard box. Waiting and waiting for someone to come and save the day and rescue them from the homelessness they face out in that brutal world. At SPCA Great Plains these animals have a place to go and live and have a much better chance of being adopted.
