Some parents believe that spanking the child is an easier alternative and faster way for them to learn .Spanking a child may stop whatever irritating/treacherous/prohibited behavior he or she may be doing at the moment, but spanking is not a long term effect; it is more likely for the child to repeat the unacceptable behavior more than once. Instead, spanking may cause the child to rebel later on in the future. This child may develop aggressive behavior with siblings, friends, and spouse.
