Spanking Persuasive Speech

“Abusing a vulnerable child is always, and extremely, damaging and wrong.” Therefore, spanking is not the answer to disciplining the child. A child does not have a say to what the parent can or cannot do to them. A parent should seek other options other than spanking their child. Some parents believe that spanking is the fastest way to procure to their child, although the fact is they are just making their children scared of their parents. Children contribute to have bad behavior after being punished because the children get accustomed to the spanking. Spanking can be used out of anger and physically and mentally hurt the child.

Instead, it teaches kids to be afraid of us,which is no basis of love.”(Parenting) Children may not always feel loved by their parents making the child do their own configuration and envision their parents not loving them. Spanking just shows children that violence is okay to use on others.This shows that the child is taking out their emotions on someone they do not know. Parents need to confess to their children that they love them and that they can talk to them about anything, because sooner or later the child will turn on you and misbehave further than usual. A child needs to succeed in school and if they misbehave they will not be able to learn comparable to the other students in the class. Parents need to always support their child, whether if its in school, sports, or whatever extracurricular activities the child is doing, they should always be there to support them.
