Spanking is any kind of negative physical abuse of a child that can cause pain as a way of discipline. Spanking is associated with parents correcting the behavior in a child. Sometimes this can result to being often out of frustration or anger with the child’s behavior. The use of spanking is one of the most disputable parenting practices, especially between older and younger generations. However, parents who use it in their homes are being accused of child abuse. I strongly believe that spanking a child is the adult's way of getting rid of their frustration for a 'bad child’.
