A child’s body is delicate and if a parent hits the child to hard the parent can leave bruises and not mean to. Always use your hand instead of a weapon. This will help you realize how hard you are hitting the child’s rear end. Step six is to be gentle with the child. After you spank them allow them to cry. When they are done crying talk to the child about what they did wrong and why his or her actions were wrong. This way the child will not make the same mistake again.
