Spanish Reflective Essay

In the third year of high school, I had a chance to turn a simple work of Spanish to a project. The writing and reading are present in my life significantly since I was nine years old when I started the drama classes where besides reading texts and script, got the opportunity to write my own pieces and present them to parents and students. Therefore, the aim of my project, called Había Una Vez, because it all started in the Spanish class, was to encourage reading and that, fortunately, it became an incentive also to writing.

I was one of the three project leaders and to achieve this goal, me and the rest of the team, distributed books encased around the school, allowing the students to just read the synopsis, in doing so, they learned to read due to the stories and not by the covers. And moreover, I organized talks with Brazilian writers beginning their careers, who have published their works on their own or through a publisher, I contacted them and publishers for support material, such as books, bookmarks, and shirts to prize draw during these meetings.
