In my recent discover of the Spanish life style I come to realize that they have very unique ways of life that we as Americans could benefit from. These ways of life are siesta and close family ties. Siesta is beneficial for those Americans that work long hours because it could help those regain more energy and make less rational decisions. I also believe it will benefit those that have families at home because it gives them more time to be a part of their lives instead of being full time workers. I also love the way the Spanish culture take pride in being family oriented I relate to this because as a child I was taught that family was a first priority and they would be there for you when all else failed.
