The civil war was intended to allow the colonies independence, but they couldn't do it alone. From 1808 to 1829, the Spanish citizens in America fought with their Spanish Oppressors. With the institution of social society new oppression's, the war had another motive. America eventually had to get involved, not because they supported the colonist but because the European power was in America's domain. An education reform is a change in public education. The origins trace back to England when they tried to reform their school system. There are many types of reforms; one reform began in the 19th century, around 1860. A specific way of learning was enforced, developed by Joseph Lancaster. These reforms are significant by showing the way education was enforced. Imperialism helped form education into the way it is today with the help of these reforms.
