Although many people think it would be awesome to build a space station, there are so many homeless people that we could try to feed with that money. Sure it would be awesome to build a space station, but think about all the and homeless kids. First and foremost, why you should not spend your money on space station and on the homeless is that the homeless need the money maybe eat lunch. Your money wouldn’t really even matter to the space station since it would cost about a trillion dollars and all the homeless people want would be to buy lunch. America could lose its global power if they don’t get back into space. I know that NASA just shut down manned missions due to budget cuts, and if we don’t go back to space, the U.S. will seem weak. This could cause war, and make more budget issues. However, if they start sending more people to space the U.S. will have more debt, and might be unprepared when a war occurs. The U.S. should go to space because almost all of the countries the U.S. has been competing with have access to space, and therefore the U.S. should too.…

Not only have humans escaped Earth’s atmosphere, but humans have also landed on other celestial bodies, such as the Moon. As humans continue to explore, there will become a need for further advancements in all fields of study, to not only reach distant planets but also to sustain life on them as well. There are two articles that focus on the topic of space exploration, the authors of these two articles provide different perspectives of what the future of space exploration could look like.…

I believe there is a lot to be learned through exploring our universe but I am not in favor of colonizing other planets. I believe that exploring our universe with unmanned spacecraft will bring us a wealth of information that can aid us in understanding the world we live on. Sending man into space was a great adventure and the transmission and photographic technology available in the 60s and 70s when the space race was at its apex was not as robust which prevented us from seeing everything there was to see and learn in outer space or on other planets. That has changed considerably in the past 20 years. We can now send cameras into space that can transmit data that would have taken us years to analyze and understand in the early years…

Even though many people of the world may think it is a splendid idea to put time and money into building a space station on the moon or mars, it is not the brightest idea. It is not such a magnificent idea to put time and money into building a space station on the moon or mars because not many people fly to space, the space station could mess up, and asteroids could damage the space station. First and foremost, time and money put into building a space station on the moon or mars is not a superior idea because not very many people fly to space. Very few people have the money to get up and take a trip to space because they have nothing significant to be doing. The only people who visit space is the astronomers.…

There are those who believe space is the final frontier, but before we look up we have to look down. The greatest Enemy to the human race is humans. If we can't take care of the problems here at our home, how can we expect to venture further from our home if we keep destroying it. Before taking a leap forward we need to look to where we are leaping from. We leave nothing but trash and destruction in our wake and if we address these problems we can have a brighter, cleaner future.…

In this paper I shall go explain the pros and cons of whether or not humans belong in space and why I believe that we must venture into the far reaches of space in order for the human race to survive. Most of my research has come from sites that write articles on space and space exploration as well as the leading authority of space travel, NASA. The side that argues against space travel says that it can be very costly and it is not worth the time and money. They also say that it could do us more harm than good, as there are many failures that cost the lives of astronauts as well as the unknown dangers that lie in space.…

The discussion on space exploration is a debatable one each side has its logical argument. I believe that space exploration has more positive effects than negative to the human race. On the one hand, critics may point out that the most significant negative effect of space exploration is it can be costly. For example, a space mission will roughly cost billions of dollars, and it would be better to spend the money to solve hungry and poverty around the world.…

Self-driving cars, face-scanning phones, virtual reality; everyone’s heard it all, and soon enough, science will be able to create absolutely everything right in front of people’s fingertips. Who knows, maybe one day everyone will be able to float around in space, but the reason might not be the reason people would think. All these dangerously smart inventions are practically destroying Earth’s atmosphere, and everyone will need another place to go. The Earth’s atmosphere is being destroyed little by little, but afterward, Earth won't be an option to stay. Humanity won’t be able to travel through space because space travel is not only down-right crazy, but it’s a total waste of money and a risk to mankind and outer space, and acknowledging…

People are outraged by the amount of time, effort and funds invested to gain insufficient information, which appears to be useless for our planet, should the space program be defunded? Instead of fruitless endeavors like finding out if there are extraterrestrial lives in Mars. We should be deeply focusing on society; finding better ways to power humanity’s desire for energy and feeding the starving population around the globe. Alternatively, space exploration is a desire and if we put desire before our needs our society will not appear as developed as the the government has promoted it to be. For instance, “NASA’s FY 2011 budget of $17.5 billion to fund new science mission, ground flying telescope.”…
