The space race has represented significant milestones that this race has created, showing us the amazing progress humans have made in exploring and understanding space. It has marked a period of time with extraordinary achievements like the first satellite to orbit Earth, the first human crewed spacecraft, and the first human to walk on the moon. One of the first greatest achievements was when the Soviet Union launched the first satellite into space.
