Space Race Advantages

The Space Race, brought many different inventions which are useful for many people in their daily life. The GPS was an invention the U.S. created after the pressure which the Soviet Union put on them after creating Sputnik 1. It was a great invention with good quality. At the beginning it was really hard to create this because there were only five satellites in the space, but now, it is easier to have better GPS due to the quantity of satellites there are in the space. GPS is an invention which people use everyday, but sometimes people forget how it all started due to the Space Race. Additionally, NASA created the ear thermometer with the Diatek Corporation which have a technology which measures temperature through the ear. Because of the Space Race, people whose jobs are to investigate space were able to do more research about the moon. This research was enough to send humans to the moon. Now, people from NASA have accurate information, and people in NASA are looking for other life forms from the moon. The moon can be the key for humans to see whether there is other life forms that humans do not know. Companies are changing the economics of space for future plans of spaceflight, space tourism, and missions to Mars. A new huge space observatory is about to be finished, and it will help a lot with space research. This observatory will help NASA or other space organizations to learn more about space and create new projects. The Sputnik 1 Satellite was bad news for the enemies of the Soviet Union during the Space Race because they were at the middle of a competition, but that satellite now has an important legacy and it has inspired many important projects.
