One of humankind's greatest achievement is space exploration, a testament to what is possible when people from around the world work together to push the boundaries of what we can do. Over spring break I traveled to the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral and I learned a lot about the history of space exploration and what is currently being built for future missions.
I believe that engineering the tools of scientific discovery will lead to the most important breakthroughs of the 21st century, especially when it comes to what we know about space. NASA is currently on track for an asteroid redirect mission and a Mars mission set to take place in the next 30 years.
