#1. Begin the science center by looking and reading the living and non-living mini-posters and rhymes in the middle of the tri-fold board.
#2. Read the Living or Nonliving book that is provided. Discuss the book with group members.
#3. At this number you will work alone or with a partner to complete the picture plate sort. There are two plates in the Ziploc bag, with pictures of living organisms and non-living materials. Each student or group will need two plates, one living and one non-living plate, along with multiple pictures from Ziploc bag. Each student should select one picture at a time, identify what the picture is of, and then determine which
