Sp-2 Case Study

Improved Essays
Connor’s SP-2 form from home indicated no concerns in the quadrants of seeking, avoiding, sensitivity, and registration. The results determine he has the ability to properly process the sensory stimuli presented in his environment. For Connor, sensory stimuli in his environment could be the feel of his bed sheets on his bed, hearing the faucet turn on as he brushes his teeth, the chill in the air as he gets out of bed, or the sounds of getting breakfast ready. The profile indicated a very slight concern in the visual section, he scored in the less than others range. This score indicated Connor would benefit from more visual cues and visual targets to look at (e.g. placing a colored piece of paper under a white worksheet to make it stand out).

Project Strategy and Planning When planning for the Alliance Prototype Project, we took a very structured approach. Group members were assigned formal roles, which were then used to delegate portions of the planning document. Each section of the planning document was completed individually, but was revised at a follow up meeting where the group discussed their rationale behind each of their decisions. When formulating the scope statement, our Quality Manager focused on key deliverables and defined constraints, synthesizing the available information into one cohesive statement. Our Risk Manager brainstormed a list of all possible risks when executing the simulation, assigned probability and cost impacts to each, and then decided whether to accept…

Imagine that you are watching the symphony orchestra perform, listening to a wide array of different instruments. When you hear the vibrations of the strings of a double-bass, your brain associates that specific sound with the smell of a fruit. When the clarinets wail their tune, you visualize the color orange. Finally when you make eye contact with a harp, if one is present, your right leg begins to itch. This seemingly supernatural phenomenon doesn’t occur once, but it occurs every time that you hear a double bass, listen to a clarinet, or make eye-contact with a harp.…

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples (ATSI’s) Outline the nature and extent of the health inequities suffered by this group The contrast between ATSI’s and the rest of the Australian population in relation to health equity is the largest contrast that can be found within health statuses in Australia. This inequity is clearly seen as currently Indigenous Australians tend to die earlier than non-Indigenous Australians and their death rates are almost twice those of non-Indigenous Australians.…
