South Parks: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut film has many functions that operate in the South Park movie. The sound of the film contributes the rhythm, how characters are revealed, subject of the story, and the audience’s attention of the film. Without sound in this movie it would not be nearly as funny. Sound is a key aspect of what makes this movie hilarious and relatable to older generations even though it is a simple cartoon. The diegetic creates continuity with in the movie; musical passages became a theme of the movie revealing so much about characters and subjects with in the movie.
