South High School Motivation Essay

South High School was helped by the National Math and Science Initative, who paid $100 to each student who scored a 3 or above on the A.P. exam. I would work harder when a cash bonus is attached to my grade. It will motivate others and give them a better future. To begin, I would work harder when a cash bonus is attched to my grade, motivating me and others. They will do above and beyond in order to get the money, either to get something they want to pay for college. Like a reward mmost people work harder when money is involved. In the article, " Incentives for Advanced Teachers Chash In" by Sam Dillon, it states, "Last fall, enrollment surged to 61 studenets. Forty-three of those passed the exam, and 15, or 25 percent, got the top score. Worldwide, 13 percent of the 143,000 people who took the statistics exam got 5's this year" (Dillion 2). With moeny being earned it can be used to buy school supplies or to save for future uses.
