One of my most recent challenges that occurred this past year was taking on a regional level role as South Central Region Z-HOPE Coordinator. Before this appointment I have only served on a local level, only serving as Tamias for Psi Alpha Zeta Chapter since graduation in 2011. This experience has helped me grow as a leader in multiple ways. Since taking this role I am more aware of what I do well and what I do not too well. I am investing more time in my strengths and seeking guidance, from past Z-HOPE Coordinators, in my weak areas. I’m always pushing myself beyond my known limits of normalcy, I refuse to be mediocre.
