Nae only wanted what was best for her sister, she always wanted her to be happy and safe. When their uncle introduced a man to the family, I knew something was up because it happened soon after Ma fired Duke. I was feeling the same emotion as Nae. I was surprised that Nae did not try to save her sister from what she knew was about to happen. The only thing Nae did when Sourdi married this man was fake her excitement. She knew her sister was not happy from the start, so those feelings carried over in later years to come when Nae receives a call from Sourdi, asking for Ma.
