Self-management: Bethany displays self-management because even though her arm just got bitten off she stay calm. Afterwards she handles her emotions and doesn’t get mad and yells she gets a little frustrated, but she doesn’t let that get in the way of her succeeding. Interdependence: Bethany showed interdependence through asking for help when she needed it after she first started practicing surfing again. She depended on her family's support to get through what she was going through because all of the support her family gave her motivated her to do her best and keep trying even if she didn’t get it the first time. However, she was also dependent enough to do what she need to do in order for her to do well and get back out and surf.She didn't just depend on her family and became a burden she actually tried to do things for herself.
5. Self-awareness: She showed self-awareness because she was aware of her capabilities and what she needed to do in order to be successful. She was aware of her situation and her surroundings as well as the people around her. But not only that also how she felt and how she needed to react to the obstacles and situations she was but in.
