Sophomore Year For School

Decent Essays
Sophomore year for me was so hard and annoying for school. I didn’t ever want to go to school. I didn’t even want to do the work on the computer at home. I was so lazy until I seen my grades they were terrible. I thought I could get past it because I thought they didn’t pass out report cards. When my report card came back with four F’s I was so angry because all I had to do was ask for help instead of failing. Seeing my parents especially my mom get as angry as she was showed me that i had to get it together and do better for myself. My next report card I promised my parents I will get better grades and won’t fall off track . I stayed on top of my work till this day and found out hard work works better for me.

Algebra was easy for me, but world history got to me. I failed that class for the whole year so I didn't really get to enjoy my last year in band. Sophomore was always failing and I missed so many opportunities to be spotted as a jazz musician. One thing that also distracted me the most was how much denial I had when I found out that my Mom was getting sick. It was just a horrible year.…

It did affect me because I did fool around my first year which was not a normal quality for me. I still did my work from classwork to projects, so I wasn’t completely off task. In Biology, we had a project where we had to talk about a problem such as global warming and present it to younger students.…
