Many believe Eteocles was a traitor for starting a war on this country, and did not deserve to be buried. Antigone is being taken as a traitor for burying her beloved brother. Antigone’s actions are justified in the way she honored her brother in a proper burial.
Now as I know many of you are contentious because your beloved king takes Antigone as a traitor. But in the words of Antigone, “... I have done no wrong, I have not sinned before God. Or if I have, I shall know the truth in death. But if the guilt lies upon Creon who judged me, then, I pray, may his punishment equal my own.” Creon deserves as much pain and suffering he brings to Antigone. She has done no wrong and brought no harm to her country or ourselves.
