As a Sophmore in highschool I faced a socail challenge that I had not been greatly used to. I had been admitted into my high schools branch of National Honor Society and was ready to start my volunteering experiences. There had been no question to whether I would join or not. I had always known that if the opportunity would arise, I would take it. My first meeting came not too long after the induction ceremony. Bright and early in the morning I had to arrive at the school for my first monthly meeting. When first walking into the classroom, my initial reaction wasn't the best. There were very few familiar faces. I had limited friends in the room and the first thing to pop in my head was "who in this room am I going to volunteer with". I was
