“Stand up for what you believe in even if you are standing alone” Sophie Scholl and some of her fellow resistance members had risked their life to distribute leaflets. By risking their life like that people were inspired by her bravery and courage to spread her story and also name schools after her.
Sophie was executed for treason on Germany because of the leaflets she took part in delivering. February 18, 1943 Sophie, her brother, and their friends decided to take it to the next level. They left piles of leaflets by every classroom door and even pushed a huge stack off the banister. They ended up getting caught by a janitor and they were interrogated. “On Thursday, February eighteenth, 1943, Sophie and Hans distributed the pamphlets personally

The slogans said “Freedom”, and “Down with Hitler”, and “Down with Hitler”. Occasionally they would paint a white swastika that was crossed out with red paint. “On three nights in February 1943 -- the 3rd, 8th and 15th -- Hans, Alex and Willi conducted the most dangerous of all the White Rose activities. The three men used tar and paint to write slogans on the sides of houses on Ludwigstrasse, a main thoroughfare in Munich near the University.” The faith that these people had gave them the courage to stand up for what is right and not follow what everyone else thought was “right.”
Sophie Scholl impacted mostly people in Germany. “Two hundred German schools are named for the Scholls, and politicians such as former New York Mayor David Dinkins invoke their names, and visit their graves.” People named stuff after them because of their bravery and that they could care less what other people thought of them. Sophie wasn’t to die because she knew that her death would cause uprising and people to start stepping up. Sophie and the rest of the White were very inspiring and important when it comes to Germany’s

With each passing day since I began my topic, I found it constantly developing with each new idea I had. In the atmosphere of autocratic and oppressive Nazi Germany, the nonviolent resistance group stood up against Hitler when opposition at all was rare and punishable by death. They surpassed Germany, protesting with bits of poetry and literature and eventually becoming international symbols of freedom and nonviolence. Eventually, I realized that all seven main members of the resistance, no matter if they wrote a leaflet, edited one, or simply delivered them were all consequential and the siblings Hans Scholl and Sophie Scholl, Christoph Probst, Willi Graf, George J. Wittenstein, Alexander Schmorell, and Kurt Huber, were truly heroes for their resistance, objection, and protestation of the dictatorial Nazi Regime. Even their deaths led to more nonviolent resistance groups becoming active in their honor, hardening their role as a symbol for…

The superficial characteristics of the Nazis such as sharp uniforms and skilled marching bands were appealing to Hans and his “budding sense of masculinity”.2 With the military-styled discipline of their members and constant display of the swastika symbol, the NSDAP stood apart from their political opponents, and most importantly, they appealed to the growing masculinity of young German boys, just as they did for Hans. While this initial support was routed in spectacle, the Nazi government began to instill their political ideologies in German youth culture when they seized power in 1933 and Hitler himself outlined his reasoning for this policy: “I begin with the young. We older ones are used up. We are rotten to the marrow… But my magnificent youngsters!…
