‘Until we get equality in education, we won’t have an equal society’, this was a statement made by Sonia Sotomayor which I have believed for a while now. The racial condition of this country has changed over the years and when it comes to financial stability, the average black American’s are prone to retarding financial situations than white American’s. With this present situation We, the black population, are posed with some questions. How are we going to achieve equality with respect to what Sonia Sotomayor said? How are we going to increase the number of black successful graduates? How Do We intend to support the NSBE mission of graduating 10000 engineers by 2025?

Through efforts like this I am able to gradually increase the number engineers that graduate.
Most people already in college suffer from high pressure and because of this drop out or don’t perform well in the school and in order to help them I advise them or coach them through techniques that make the learning process easier. Whereby, I will introduce them to more experienced NSBE members who also assist in guiding them.
I learned that unawareness of certain things due to lack of information makes it harder for people to achieve certain goals. So I intend to support NSBE mission to mission of graduating 10000 engineers by 2025 by assisting awareness Programs such as the NSBE’s Pre-College Initiative Program to perform duties in the community. There are a lot of black American’s who are unable to pay for their tuition. Organization like NSBE could help some of them by providing them scholarships. Though awareness programs they could learn about these scholarship
