Songs That Describe Kanye

The song is more like a motivation song that it talks about himself being amazing, having people come to only see him and considering himself a predator. Basically he is at the top that is why he is the only thing he is afraid of. The song starts immediately with the beat that goes throughout the whole song except when they use the sound of an animal and human sounds. Towards the end of the song there seems to be another instrument involved like a piano. The drum is mostly played throughout the song and it’s a fast beat that goes with the words that Kanye is saying. It gets the listener pumped. The human sounds are also upbeat and gives you that same feeling as the drums. The animal sound gives it like a pause, but then it jumps right back into the drums. …show more content…

The music in the movie is absolutely gorgeous. The opening credits with the shots of the animals in their enclosures and the lovely music playing in the background sets the mood for the story. They are opening shots to capture the mind and the music furthers this notion. When Pi and Richard Parker come upon the carnivorous island, the music again sets the mood for the short-lived beauty of this gift. The music is dangerous when it needs to…

In recent news, the media, especially social media, has crucified Kanye West for his recent comments showing in support of current President Donald Trump and later his comments about how slavery was a choice. Kanye West is an American rapper, record producer, fashion designer, and entrepreneur, who has made media headlines multiple times with his “outrageous” comments, such as saying that former president George W. Bush doesn’t care about black people and how the rapper’s biggest regret in life is not being able to see himself perform. On April 25, 2018, West took to twitter to show his support of President Trump by tweeting, “my MAGA hat is signed”; later on the same day, West clarified the previous tweet with another tweet stating, “You…

    Poem By Big Pun

This dark and aggressive song, by Big Pun, promotes the idea of revenge, retribution and ruthlessness. It includes endless lines of pure violence and harsh messages written in breathtaking poetry, that is powerful enough to completely possess an individual’s attention. Big Pun is without a doubt lyrically gifted, but the morals and ethics he is advocating are troublesome for modern society. He describes murder as something he is born to do, essentially spreading the idea that he is good at it and proud. In addition to this, he raps about emotions of remorse being a negative thing, teaching people that “feeling bad” for others is not a desirable attitude.…

When you think of a leader, chances are you do not think about a rapper. Nevertheless, one that can be expected to be sporting overalls on stage one day, and is meeting with the President on another. Even more confusing, he has not released a studio album, but has won three Grammy awards. He was the first artist to perform on Saturday Night Live without a studio record deal and even participated in a recent Kit-Kat advertising campaign. I am describing one of the most influential and inspiring celebrities of our time, Chance the Rapper.…

Another heartfelt record is “Real Friends,” in which Kanye is at his saddest describing his loneliness, even when around family, with verses like, “But how many honest? Trust issues; Switched up the number, I can’t be bothered; I cannot blame you for havin’ an angle; I ain’t got no issues, I’m just doin’ my thing; Hope you doin’ your thing, too; I’m a deadbeat cousin, I hate family reunions.” Unlike the typical rap album Kanye decides to take a different route with The Life Of Pablo. From time to time throughout the album he does reference themes which are typical in hip-hop but infuses aspects of multiple genres such as gospel, funk, spoken word and many…

Omari Kanye Omari West is one of the greatest rappers ever. To many, Kanye West is just a performer who is a self-centered, egotistic jerk. Just because he is egotistical, does not mean you should not give his music a chance. After reading this, I hope the reader goes out of their way and listen to his music, and give West a chance. When it comes down to it, he is a rap god, a fashion pioneer, and an incredibly brilliant human being.…

"The Plan" - Wiz Khalifa (Summary) The song "The Plan" written by Wiz Khalifa speaks to me in numerous ways all throughout the song. Khalifa expresses his feelings towards how he was not suppose to make it to where he is today in the eye's of certain individuals, but is now able to do whatever he wants when he wants because of his financial freedom; "… went shopping places they said I can't … jumped on the road did all them shows 'cause I was popping' places they said I ain't … ". Composers are no longer only middle aged, white men who play violin, piano and write music by hand. In today’s time, composers are producers who create music through their computer such as Pharrell Williams and Erick Arc Elliot of the Flatbush Zombies. Both of these producers repeatedly create some of the best music ever produced, and will only get better with time. The work of Pharrell is more popular than that of Erick Arc Elliot due to Pharrell’s time spent in the music industry and his involvement in mainstream media thus far, but that does not mean Erick Arc will not make exponential growth in creating his own legacy in the years to come. Pharrell Williams, who still does not look a day over twenty, is going on forty years old, which makes him about ten years older than Erick Arc.…

Rappers misuse their influence at times and rap about insignificant topics that focus on consumerism, such as rapping about cars and money, and objectifying women. The way rap music is portrayed in the media seems to capture these trivial topics rather than the important social issues some rappers discuss. However, there are few rappers who dare comment on social issues, two being Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West. Lamar and West write music about important social topics such as racial injustice and racism in America, whereas other rappers are ignoring these issues. Lamar’s most recent song, “The Blacker The Berry,” talks about the institutionalized hardships black people are still facing, such as economic inequity and harmful social perceptions,…
