“The Final Countdown” is a song written by Joey Tempest. It is vocalized by the band Europe. Europe was started in Upplands Vasby, Sweden. Europe’s members are Joey Tempest(vocals), John Norum(guitarist), John Leven(bass), Mic Michaeli(keyboards), and Ian Haugland(drummer). With their album Epic, Europe became very popular. “The Final Countdown” was released February-14-1986. “The Final Countdown” sold over 3 million copies in the U.S.A. and over 20 million worldwide. Epic was founded originally as a jazz and classical music label in 1953. It later expanded its scope to include diverse musical genres including pop, RnB, rock and hip hop.
