When you're family supports you, don't you feel like you can do anything? I know I do. In the short story song of the trees by mildred D. Taylor, a family stays strong when people threaten them because of each other's support. I think this story could be interpreted in many ways, but when I read it I felt the toughness of the family and how united they were as a team. They worked well together and always defended one another in their time of need. This story shows an exceptional example of a loving family, not that a family should be a certain way. A family may not always be the people you live with, they are just people that care about you and your well-being.
