The Girl and the Dreamcatcher is an American pop band consisting of Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan. Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan are costars on the Disney Channel show Liv and Maddie. They are in love on and off the screen, they have been in a relationship for about 3 years and they’ve been engaged for 5 months. They started on YouTube, their first video was a cover of “At Last I See the Light”. In May 2015 Dove Cameron revealed that the two were going to officially form a band, and release their first original song. In September 2015, they announced the official name of their band. Their first single “Written in the Stars” was released on October 2, 2015. They released many singles in 2015 and 2016. The band has just released their debut
