Solutions For Illegal Immigration

Illegal immigration has become a controversial topic. Its relation with poverty and crime has made it stand on a neutral position. The American government has found many different ways to potentially solve the issue but, the solutions found won’t solve the issue of poverty and crime. One possible solution is allowing immigrants to have a work permit. A work permit is used so a migrant can be allowed to work in the country they are migrating too. Obtaining a work permit could possibly take years. Not every migrant has the privilege to obtain a work permit. This possible solution become effective for migrants that are found already in the country, but how about the one's that are to come in the future. Thankfully work permits aren’t the only solutions found. Self deportation has also become a possible solution. Self deportation is achieved by taking away the things migrants were seeking jobs, home, new life, etc. The act of “self deportation,” only benefits the solution of decreasing immigrants in the country. Poverty and Crime would actually increase in the countries. Self deportation should be classified as a solution to potentially solve crime and poverty from immigrating countries. Illegal immigrants might be a problem for some, but forcing them to deport themselves would make them even worse. If immigrants go back to their countries, the family members of the migrants would also attempt to cross. Getting rid of migrants or giving them permission to work won’t decrease no crime, no poverty, or any other potential issue related to immigration. The most effective solution would be allowing immigrants to stay with a legal status. Granting them legal status would open more jobs. Granting illegal immigrants legal status would permit migrants to live like an American. Also this action would at least save people from be in poverty or being involved in
