I. Technological mobile devices are pervasively seeping into every moment of our time. Many questions arise; if this is good or bad? The ramifications of the proliferation of cell phones? The time we should spend on them?
II. Time previously spent in solitude, to create, to muse, and to gather ourselves has been dissolved (Turkle).
A. Technology has got in the way of many aspects of our lives.
1. We should expand our communications, lower down our devices and talk.
III. The widespread belief in the merits of technology dismissing any detrimental side effects.
A. Luddism - a philosophy opposing many forms of modern technology.
1. To explore collateral damage, unintended consequences, and sightlessness in our behaviors.
