History of black people from white's perspective is that black people had a bad background , teaching them that the whites are better than the whites where that is not true. Reading this makes me think on that this guy named George has nothing as he says " Nothing has change. I'm still losing." and you don't have too much left on you. This reminds me on me because i lose sight of myself, the first time i came to school in DCIS Montbello high school;so i went to bathroom and begin crying, because i could not learn nothing at all and just started to losing my hope. But then i met a friend who help me with my understanding and gave me a little hope that is not over yet. This is just like an Anime where the characters fall in the darkness and lose sight of himself or herself and friends came by to help him or her.Not only in animes also in book, for example, “El viejo y el mar” where the old man can not catch a giant fish. I keep reading the letter and says "I'm alive though, so there's still the possibility....", that's were i thought that my friend was my hope and my possibility to keep moving forward; my friend make me feel full of hope.
There is no way i can keep reading this but, some sentences catch my attention making me feel like before: sad, darkness and lonely. George says "I'm just locked down and forgotten.", those words are speaking to me saying "you are nothing"; reading this just recall my past, and are always on my life, because i feel behind from other.
