Today is the day I leave for Soldier Island. I have to be at the train station in 3 hours.
It is going to be a long journey. I am all packed. I plan to spend the summer working for Mrs. Owen as her secretary. There are some things that worry me. I’m worried about being so close to the sea. I’m scared Mrs. Owen will know about my past and not like me. I arrive at the train station. The train to Paddington had arrived and I got on.
I found an empty seat on the train and sat down. The train left the station. I got comfortable and started day dreaming out the window just wondering at the end of this train ride what is waiting for me. I look over and see a man looking at me.
